Welcome to this site dedicated to informing you about weeds in New Zealand. It has been designed both for general members of the public and also for students of Massey University studying about weeds.
For those of you wanting to learn how to identify New Zealand weeds, and about the biology and control of these weeds, you are welcome to browse through our weeds database.
You may also be interested to find out more about the distance learning opportunities in weed control offered from here at Massey University.
For those of you who are already Massey students, the weeds database will help you identify weeds for collections or tests you may be studying towards. The weed quiz will help you test how well you can identify New Zealand weeds. If you have not already done so, you may like to find out more about the internal version of 171.385 Controlling Weeds.
If you are already enrolled for the 171.385 Controlling Weeds paper, check out the tutorial material in the Study Zone, which you can access by clicking on the word "Login" on the top bar of this page, then follow the instructions on the following page.
